It is reported that the 900-ton gantry crane has a total weight of 4,650 tons. After lifting, the main beam and the ground have a net height of 76 meters and a span of 176 meters. After it is put into use, it will play an important role in improving the capacity of the sub-group, achieving rapid loading and shortening the ship construction period, and bringing about a qualitative improvement for the lifting capacity of the Huangpu Shipbuilding Longxue Plant.
It is understood that the gantry crane is one of the key construction projects of Huangpu Shipbuilding this year and has received strong support from China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. The project team of the project general contractor Zhongchuan Jiangnan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. entered the shipyard in March this year for final assembly operations.
