According to Reuters, Dana Inc. (DANA) replaced the American Axle Manufacturers (AAM) and became the supplier of axles for GM Chevrolet Colorado and GM CCanyon.

GM recently reached an agreement with UAW, and General Motors pledged to invest US$380 million in the production of mid-sized pickup trucks at its Wentzville plant in Missouri, creating 1850 jobs. Dana Chief Executive Officer Roger Wood said Dana will supply Advantech front and rear drive axles for GM's new midsize pickups.

It is the world's leading supplier of drive systems, seals and thermal management products.
