I just came across some amazing content from Code Photography that I wanted to share. They posted photos and a video capturing the live burn training session held by the Wood Dale Fire Department back on June 6, 2015. It’s always fascinating to see how these professionals train for real-life scenarios, and their dedication really shines through in these images.
Here’s a little sneak peek into what they shared:
The first image shows firefighters hard at work during the training exercise. You can almost feel the intensity in the air as they go through their paces.
Another shot highlights a fire truck responding to what looks like a full-blown house fire. The way the flames leap out of the windows is both terrifying and mesmerizing at the same time.
There’s also this incredible photo of a vacant house completely engulfed in flames. The heat must have been intense, yet it’s such a powerful visual reminder of why firefighters do what they do.
And here’s another angle of the same scene, showing just how quickly a fire can spread. It’s a sobering reminder of the importance of fire safety measures.
Finally, this last image captures a vacant garage that’s been overtaken by fire. The contrast between the chaos of the flames and the stillness of the surrounding area is striking.
If you want to see more, Code Photography has plenty more photos available. It’s always inspiring to see the kind of work these brave men and women put in to keep our communities safe.
