The meeting emphasized that we must intensify the promotion measures, accelerate the development of grain drying mechanization, and strive to achieve a new level of mechanization of grain drying in Hubei Province during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. The first is to nurture business entities. Encourage and guide agricultural machinery cooperatives and grain growers with a certain scale to develop grain drying, and use grain drying mechanization as the content of socialized services, so that grain drying service organizations and grain farmers will benefit. The second is to strengthen administrative promotion. Actively hold the food drying observation conference and demonstration meeting, vigorously carry out food drying technology training, effectively strengthen publicity, demonstration, guidance, and promote the application of grain drying mechanization technology. The third is to increase subsidies. The main grain-producing areas should give full play to the effectiveness of agricultural machinery purchase subsidies. According to actual conditions, grain drying machinery equipment can be included in the scope of major subsidies for machinery, increase the subsidies for drying machinery and equipment, and guide the development of grain drying mechanization. Representatives of the conference also visited Zoomlion Grain Drying Equipment Demonstration Base and held a base unveiling ceremony. The base uses 12 batches of 30-ton batches of Zhonglian Guwang cross-flow low-temperature cycle dryers. The drying of grain can reach 600 tons or more.
