(1) Main production products There are two main categories of gypsum mineral raw materials and gypsum products. The product is divided into plate products and powder products. The classification of gypsum products is shown in Table 4.18.11. The varieties, properties and uses of gypsum board are shown in Table 4.18.12. The varieties, properties and uses of gypsum powder are shown in Table 4.18.13. Table 4.18.11 Classification of gypsum products Table 4.18.13 Gypsum powder varieties, properties and uses In addition to the gypsum products listed in the table, there are gypsum composite products such as wood chipboard, expanded pearlite board, composite gypsum wallboard, gypsum keel and the like. At present, there are more than 60 state-owned gypsum mining enterprises in China, and more than 300 gypsum mining enterprises in other economic sectors. China's gypsum production capacity is above 30 million tons. Mainly concentrated in Shandong, Shanxi, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces. There are about 30 large and medium-sized mining enterprises with an annual output of more than 100,000 tons of gypsum in China. Among them, mining enterprises with a production scale of more than 400,000 tons include: Hubei Yingcheng, Hunan Shaodong, Jiangsu Nanjing, Zhangzhou, Shandong Pingyi, Hualu, Shanxi. Xishan and so on. There are currently more than a thousand gypsum products companies in China. Among them, the paper gypsum board has been put into production with 20 production lines in 17 factories, with a total design capacity of about 200 million m2/a. Gypsum and gypsum products are produced in more than 70 countries around the world. According to the 1996 "Mineral Commodity Summaries" report, the total world gypsum production in 1995 was 106 million tons. China, the United States, Canada and Iran are the world's four largest gypsum producers, accounting for about 57.4% of world production. In the past 10 years, the output of China's gypsum and its products has grown rapidly. In 1985, China's gypsum production was 6.31 million tons. By 1993, it had reached 13.376 million tons, and the output doubled. In 1996, it reached 27.22 million tons. In 1988, the output of gypsum products in China was 10.83 million m2, and by 1993 it reached 28.21 million m2, and the output more than doubled. In 1996, the output of only gypsum board in China reached 8.5859 million m2. 1990-1996 China The production of gypsum and gypsum board in each province (district) is shown in Table 4.18.14 and Table 4.18.15, respectively.
