Introduction:
SEFIC's asbestos-free acetylene gas cylinder is a technologically advanced product developed independently by our company. It is manufactured using deep-drawing technology with one steel plate, ensuring high quality and durability. The design of the cylinder is environmentally friendly, safe for storing acetylene gas, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing. It has obtained certifications such as DOT-8AL and TC-8WAM and has passed technical audits from BOC in the UK. Our cylinders are exported to North America, Europe, and other regions around the world.
Note: Acetylene cylinders contain an inert packing material and are filled with a solvent like acetone or dimethylformamide. Acetylene is dissolved in the solvent inside the cylinder. When the cylinder is opened, the acetylene comes back out of solution, similar to how carbonated drinks release bubbles when opened. This method prevents acetylene from exploding when pressurized above 200 kPa or becoming liquid.
