Alexis Fire Equipment has recently delivered a brand-new fire apparatus to the Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District. The unit is now ready for service and features a comprehensive set of specifications that can be viewed **HERE**. This state-of-the-art engine is built on a Spartan Gladiator Classic MFD chassis, featuring a 10-inch raised roof for added comfort and visibility. Squad 301 is equipped with a 20-foot walk-around body, complete with roll-up doors for easy access and a Wil-Burt light tower mounted on top, ensuring excellent illumination during emergency operations.
The new unit will replace an older 1990/1985 Ford/McCoy Miller MDR, marking a significant upgrade in both performance and safety for the department. The modern design and advanced technology will help improve response times and operational efficiency.
