Last night, a house fire broke out in the Frankfort area, and I managed to capture several photos of the incident while documenting the event. Here’s what I saw:
When Frankfort Ladder Company 2 arrived on the scene, they found heavy flames erupting from both the front and back of this two-story single-family home. They quickly initiated an aggressive attack by applying water from the exterior before entering the structure. Despite the bitter 20-degree weather conditions, the firefighters didn’t face any issues with their water supply and swiftly brought the blaze under control.
This fire occurred at 19949 Spruce Drive on January 2, 2012. The responding units included Frankfort Fire Department, Tinley Park TL204, Matteson A2, and Manhattan SQ1216.
