Under the support of Chongqing Municipal Natural Science Foundation of China, Chongqing Ronghai Ultrasonic Medical Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd. and Chongqing University have developed an all-silica fiber Faber interferometric ultrasound hydrophone.
The project studied the sensing principle of laterally sensitive and end-sensitive all-silica fiber ultrasound hydrophones in high-intensity focused ultrasound fields, and successfully developed prototypes and instrument systems for measuring HIFU sound fields, achieving HIFU field heights.
