HJ3 Composite Technologies Recognized as National Finalist in the Cleantech Open Accelerator Tucson, AZ — HJ3 Composite Technologies, LLC, a leading innovator in sustainable infrastructure solutions based in Tucson, Arizona, has been named a national finalist in the annual Cleantech Open Accelerator. This achievement follows their success at the Rocky Mountain Region qualifier, where they stood out among dozens of clean technology startups. Now, they are one step closer to showcasing their groundbreaking work on a national stage. The Cleantech Open, now in its fifth year, is a global initiative that has helped bring over 727 clean technology startups to life since 2006. The organization has also supported its alumni companies in securing more than $800 million in external funding and has contributed to the creation of thousands of green jobs worldwide. As a nonprofit, it continues to play a vital role in accelerating the transition to a sustainable future. As a national finalist, HJ3 will receive $20,000 in cash and in-kind services, along with the opportunity to compete against 24 other regional winners at the Cleantech National Global Forum on November 20th and 21st in San Jose, CA. The event offers a unique platform for finalists to connect with investors, industry leaders, and potential partners, with prize money reaching up to $250,000. Specializing in advanced composite systems, HJ3 Composite Technologies is focused on providing long-lasting, eco-friendly solutions to reinforce aging infrastructure. Their patented carbon fiber composites are known for their superior strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. With over 10,000 applications completed globally, HJ3's technology helps reduce costs and environmental impact while extending the lifespan of critical structures by up to 30 years. With infrastructure across the U.S. facing a $1 trillion spending gap and an estimated $3.6 trillion in repair costs, HJ3’s solutions offer a smarter, more sustainable alternative. By replacing steel and concrete with their lightweight, high-performance composites, government agencies and Fortune 500 companies can save between 60% and 90% on repair and replacement costs. Additionally, this approach significantly reduces waste and CO2 emissions associated with traditional construction and demolition practices. The Cleantech Open continues to be a powerful force in driving innovation in clean technology. Through its accelerator program, it identifies and supports entrepreneurs who are tackling some of the world’s most pressing energy, environmental, and economic challenges. With the support of over 1,500 volunteers and sponsors globally, the organization is helping build a stronger, cleaner, and more sustainable economy for the future. For HJ3 Composite Technologies, being named a national finalist is not just an honor—it's a milestone that highlights the company’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and real-world impact. As they prepare for the upcoming forum, the team is excited about the opportunities ahead and the chance to share their vision with a broader audience. Low-temperature 2-color Ratio Pyrometer
This classification includes two color infrared pyrometers measuring range is 250℃-2200℃.
Compared with one color infrared pyroemter, two color pyrometer measuring result will not change with state of object surface (surface roughness or surface chemical state), that means two color infrared thermometer accuracy will not be affacted, while the 1-color pyrometer will.
Products in this classification are usually applied to metallurgical industry(rod and wire mills, Hot rolling mills), foundry, cement kiln, induction heating, heat treatment, heating furnace, vacuum furnace, monocrystalline silicon, polysilicon, semiconductor and other industrial temperature measurement.

The optical part of pyrometer, such as glass, will accumulate some dust in the surfac after using for a period. Water, gas, oil vapour, dust in the air will reduce the emissivity coefficient, so the monochromatic pyrometer will reduce the measured value at this time. The Dual color pyrometer measures the ratio of infrared radiation intensities of two band wavelength in a specific range. With dust, water vapor and other disturbances, the signals of two wavelength fall simultaneously and the ratio remains constant after division. And user just need to wipe the glass when it is too dirty.
Monochromatic thermometers cannot measure objects smaller than the field of view. When the object does not fill the field of view, the measurement temperature will be low. A bicolor pyrometer can measure objects smaller than the field of view.
