April 8, 2020 – Flyability is launching a new webinar series on indoor drones, featuring industry leaders like DJI and Pix4D, inspection experts from API and ASME, and drone program creators at companies such as Chevron and Cargill.

Because of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Flyability had to cancel its first U.S. User Conference in March and has now transformed the event into an online webinar series. The first session will take place this Thursday, April 9, and will continue throughout April and May.

The original conference in Denver, Colorado, was set to feature a powerful lineup of speakers from leading drone companies like DJI and Pix4D, industry standards organizations such as the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and corporate leaders from major firms like Cargill and Chevron. These presenters have now agreed to deliver their talks through webinars instead of in person.

"This webinar series allows us to share some of the most valuable insights we've gathered over the past four years of deploying drones for dangerous indoor inspections," said Patrick Thévoz, co-founder and CEO of Flyability. "We were among the first to pioneer indoor drone inspections. The market is still growing, and we're excited to showcase how our customers are scaling up and achieving real risk reduction and cost savings."

The first webinar will be held on Thursday, April 9, at 10:30 AM EST, featuring experts from both API and ASME. This session will explore the future of drone inspections and how they are expanding across industries.

"These webinars provide a great opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders," said Johan Mlouka, Managing Director of Flyability Americas. "We hope to spark conversations about how indoor drones can improve worker safety while also helping companies streamline their inspection processes."
